MY STORY

Hi, I’m Harley Hatcher and I’m the CEO of The Rose Cosmetics LLC. It’s a Christian owned business that was founded in October 2020. Months prior to founding this company, I was struggling to find a hobby or job that would make me happy. During this time, my job consisted of being a server and host for a small restaurant near my town. I worked six days a week and some consisting of double shifts. I knew this job just wasn’t for me.

Coming up with the idea of this company didn’t take very long but finding the products and the style took a while. I sampled and tested out products for a couple months to find the branding and look. Then, The Rose Cosmetics was born! How did I come up with my brand name? Well…at one point in my life I was struggling with my faith. I happened to come across this video on my Instagram feed, it was a pastor giving a sermon. He was talking about how even when we think we’re too far gone from Jesus, that Jesus wants us anyway! He went on to talk about the love of Jesus and compared us all to roses. He described how when you crumple a rose, you can’t put it back together the way it was before. But, even when people don’t want that rose that’s crumpled and falling apart, Jesus does!

So, I wanted to inspire others with the love of Christ. My faith and relationship with God is a huge priority in my life and I always want it to be. Through my business, I want to inspire, motivate, and show love and encouragement to others. And especially, other small businesses.
